Marketing Service Agreement
These terms apply to our recurring local marketing subscriptions: Review Builder, Local Visibility, Local Authority, and Citation Management. All of them are month-to-month with no long-term contract.
Last updated: August 23, 2026
1.Scope of Services
This agreement covers the monthly marketing services you selected at checkout. Each service has a defined scope published on its service page at the time of purchase, and that scope is what we deliver each month.
Services outside the published scope of your plan are quoted separately before any work begins. We do not perform out-of-scope work and then add it to your invoice without written approval.
- Review Builder covers review request automation, response drafting, and monthly reporting.
- Local Visibility covers Google Business Profile management, weekly posting, and local ranking reporting.
- Local Authority covers ongoing local content production and on-page optimization.
- Citation Management covers directory listing creation, correction, and monitoring.
2.Billing and Renewal
Marketing services are billed monthly in advance. Your first charge occurs on the day you purchase, and your billing date each month thereafter is the same calendar day. If a month lacks that day, the charge falls on the last day of that month.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. There is no minimum term commitment on any marketing plan.
Prices are locked for the duration of your active subscription. If we change our published pricing, existing subscribers keep their current rate for as long as the subscription remains continuously active. Cancelling and later resubscribing means the then-current price applies.
3.Client Responsibilities
Effective local marketing requires access and input from you. To deliver these services we need administrative access to your Google Business Profile, and where relevant your website, review platforms, and directory accounts.
You are responsible for providing accurate business information, including your legal business name, address, phone number, hours, and service areas. Directory and profile accuracy depends entirely on the accuracy of what you give us.
Where a service requires your review or approval, such as content drafts or review responses, we request it in writing. If we do not hear back within five business days we may publish reasonable drafts to keep the work moving, unless you have asked us to always wait for explicit approval.
4.Results and Expectations
We commit to performing the work described in your plan. We do not guarantee specific rankings, review counts, call volume, lead volume, or revenue outcomes, because search platforms, competitor behavior, and customer demand are outside our control.
Local marketing compounds over time. Meaningful movement in local rankings and review volume typically takes several months of consistent work, and we report on progress rather than promising a fixed result by a fixed date.
Any figures shown in examples or case studies on our website illustrate what has been achieved for other businesses. They are not a projection of your results.
5.Platform Rules and Review Practices
All review generation work follows the terms of service of the platform involved, including Google. We request reviews from real customers who received real service from you.
If a platform penalizes, suspends, or removes your profile or reviews due to activity that occurred before we began work, or due to actions taken by you or another vendor, we will help you respond but we are not responsible for the underlying penalty.
- We do not write fake reviews, buy reviews, or offer incentives in exchange for reviews.
- We do not filter review requests to suppress negative feedback. Review gating violates Google policy and we will not implement it.
- We do not remove legitimate negative reviews, because no vendor can. We help you respond to them well instead.
6.Reporting
You receive a monthly report covering the work performed and the relevant metrics for your plan. Reports are sent to the email address on your account.
You may request an interim update at any time and we will respond within two business days. Reporting data comes from the platforms themselves, and where a platform changes or delays its data we report what is available.
7.Cancellation
You may cancel any marketing subscription at any time by emailing info@localwebco.us or calling 714-276-1798. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and you keep access to the service through that date.
We do not prorate partial months. Monthly fees already charged are not refunded, because the work for that period has been scheduled and in most cases performed.
On cancellation, work we performed on assets you own remains yours. Google Business Profile improvements, published content on your website, and corrected directory listings all stay in place. We remove our administrative access on request.
8.Non-Payment and Suspension
If a payment fails we retry it and notify you. If payment remains unresolved for ten days we may pause service delivery until the balance is settled. Paused accounts are not cancelled, and we resume work once payment succeeds.
We may terminate this agreement with fourteen days written notice if an account remains unpaid, or immediately if we are asked to perform work that violates platform policy or applicable law.
9.Confidentiality and Data
Account credentials and access you provide are used only to perform the services described here. We do not share them with third parties except subprocessors necessary to deliver the work, and we do not use your business data to benefit a competitor.
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
10.General Terms
This agreement, together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, is the complete agreement between us for marketing services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
We may update these terms and will notify active subscribers by email at least thirty days before a material change takes effect. Continuing your subscription after that date constitutes acceptance.
Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
This page describes Local Web Company's standard business practices and is provided for transparency. It is not legal advice. Your signed service agreement governs your specific engagement, and where the two differ, the signed agreement controls.
